HOISINGTON - The Hoisington High School baseball team swept Ellis on Tuesday, blowing away the Railers 15-0 in three innings in Game 1, and held on for a 2-1 win in Game 2.
DODGE CITY - Both games were close in the baseball doubleheader.
GARDEN CITY - Led by Grant Harris, who was named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year, the Great Bend High School boys' tennis team finished third at the WAC tournament on Monday afternoon.
The Great Bend High School boys' golf team hosted an invitational on Monday at the Club at StoneRidge.
The Great Bend High School girls' swim team placed fourth on Friday at the home invitational.
GREENSBURG - The Ellinwood High School track and field teams won both the girls and boys competition of the Kiowa County Invitational on Friday.
Game 1 was close.
HAYS - It was a struggle to get baserunners around as the Great Bend High School baseball team challenged Hays on the road.
McPHERSON - The Great Bend High School boys' track and field team won the McPherson meet on Thursday evening.
RUSSELL - The Hoisington High School placed sixth at the Russell tournament on Thursday.
LARNED - The Larned High School baseball team came away with a pair of home victories on Thursday, topping Spearville 7-2 in Game 1 of a doubleheader and 15-0 in four innings in Game 2.
It is hard to go undefeated in a season.
HUTCHINSON - It came down to the wire for Great Bend High School's girls' swim team, but the Lady Panthers edged Andover at a Hutchinson meet.
HESSTON - The Central Plains High School boys' tennis team finished in seventh at the Hesston Tournament on Tuesday evening.
There has been a venue change for today's varsity and junior varsity softball doubleheaders.
