The Hoisington Cardinal Wrestling Team dominated the Regional Tournament held this past Friday and Saturday at Russell. On the first day of competition the team got on a roll and advanced 11 out of their 14 wrestlers into the semifinals on the championship side of the bracket. The team than went on to win 8 of the semifinal matches to secure an insurmountable lead at the conclusion of the first day of competition. The second day went much the same as the first day. The Cardinals advanced all six of their non-championship finalists into the consolation finals.
Both Great Bend Bowling teams concluded their regular season on Thursday as they competed in the WAC Tournament in Garden City. The Lady Panthers dominated the tournament from start to finish.
