It will be the Class 5A District 6 showdown tonight, when underdog Great Bend High School (3-3 overall) takes on Salina Central (5-2) at Salina Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7.
Class 3A sub-state
In a perfect scenario, visiting Great Bend High School will beat Salina Central Friday night, giving the Panthers the Class 5A District 6 football championship.

CHENEY - Larned High captured the team title and Dorothy Keenan captured medalist honors with an 88 at the Central Kansas League-Central Prairie League Tournament at Cherry Oaks Golf Course. Keenan birdied the sixth hole to highlight her round.
