MANHATTAN - It wasn't the season's best outing for Great Bend High School's boys' swimming team.
HAYS - The Great Bend High School girls' basketball team played just how you'd expect the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association's No. 8 team in Class 5A would play on Tuesday night against Hays.
DERBY - The Great Bend High School wrestling team finished fifth in the 18-team field of the Derby tournament on Saturday night.
LITTLE RIVER - The Ellinwood High School boys' basketball team fell short on the road against Little River 49-40.
GARDEN CITY - Things started off well for the Great Bend High School boys' basketball team.
The Kansas Shrine Bowl Board of Directors announced the East and West teams for the 2014 Kansas Shrine Bowl, including Great Bend High School senior tackle/defensive tackle Nick Warren.
The Great Bend High School boys' swimming team hosted their final home meet of the season, a dual against Campus on Thursday night at Kirkman Activity Center.
LARNED - The Larned High School boys' basketball team controlled the first half of the Mid-Central Activities Association game against Thomas More Prep Marian on Tuesday night.
