OTIS - Senior running back Dylan Wissman put the Otis-Bison High School offense on his back during a 44-12 Central Prairie League win over Victoria on Friday night.
LARNED - With the Mid-Central Activities Association title on the line, the Larned High School football team couldn't buy a break.

LIBERAL - Senior running back Josh Lopez had a pair of first-half touchdown runs and junior running back Jonathan Allende scored two third-quarter TDs, lifting Great Bend High School to a 37-20 road victory over Liberal on Friday night.
Even though it didn't translate into a pair of victories, the Great Bend High School Lady Panthers had their moments during match losses to Hillsboro and Newton on Thursday night at Panther Fieldhouse.
PARK CITY - Great Bend's state-ranked Cody Liles (132) faces a loaded bracket in Friday's Class 5A State Tournament at Hartman Arena in Park City. The top two finishers will meet for the state championship Saturday night.

The 1-5A high school boys state swim meet took place this past weekend at the Topeka-Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka. Great Bend swimmers results are:
The Hoisington Cardinal Wrestling Team dominated the Regional Tournament held this past Friday and Saturday at Russell. On the first day of competition the team got on a roll and advanced 11 out of their 14 wrestlers into the semifinals on the championship side of the bracket. The team than went on to win 8 of the semifinal matches to secure an insurmountable lead at the conclusion of the first day of competition. The second day went much the same as the first day. The Cardinals advanced all six of their non-championship finalists into the consolation finals.
