No. 1 ranked Hoisington crushes Nickerson 64-8

HOISINGTON – Hoisington tailback Hunter Hanzlick rushed for four touchdowns and gained 154 yards to spark the No. 1 ranked Class 3A Cardinals past Nicker-son 64-8 in a Central Kansas League rout Friday night. Hanzlick scored on runs of 1, 8, 18 and 26 yards for a 46-8 halftime lead.

ULYSSES - Larned's Dorothy Keenan placed third (84) and the Indians captured the Class 4A girls golf regional (358) by 22 strokes over Hays High (380) to earn a trip to the Class 4A state golf tournament at Hesston.
