Cougar men’s soccer ready for first season under Brown

For the first 12 seasons of the program, the Barton men's soccer had just two coaches. Those coaches combined to go 187-54-17 and make three trips to the NJCAA National Tournament.

Barton Volleyball opens 2016 season and Stephenson era with sweep

The Barton Community College volleyball team opened up the 2016 season and first-year Head Coach Brandon Stephenson's era Tuesday night at the Barton Gym with a sweep of the junior varsity of Kansas Wesleyan University 25-11, 25-16, and 25-14. The Cougars have little time to celebrate the victory as Barton hosts Jayhawk foe Cloud County Community College a 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday night in conference opening match.

Barton Athletics has 55 students recognized for NJCAA Academic Achievements

The Barton Cougar athletic department showed their abilities in the class room with several athletes named as NJCAA Academic All-American.

Seventy-three Barton Athletic participants receive semester academic honors

Seventy-three Barton Community College students associated with Barton Athletics received Spring 2016 academic honors awarded by the College. Twenty-four of the students earned President's List honors for achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average while another forty-nine achieved or exceeded a 3.5 grade point average to earn Dean's List distinctive achievement awards.

Barton softball tops Jayhawks schools in GPA; 10 Cougar teams with 3.0 or better

It was a successful season the diamond for the Barton softball team. A season in which the Cougars spent a lot of time ranked in the Top 10. A season that ended in the Region VI tournament at the hands of the eventually NJCAA National Champion.
