The Barton men's golf team opened the spring portion of its season with the first Jayhawk Conference meet of the year recently. The Cougars traveled to Manhattan to play 36 holes in one day at the very challenging Colbert Hills.

BCC baseball game cancelled

Today's Barton Community College baseball team's game at Brown Mackie College has been cancelled. The Cougars will instead travel to Salina on Thursday to take on the junior varsity squad of Kansas Wesleyan University in a 4 p.m. first pitch nine inning contest at Dean Evans Stadium.

Barton-Butler rained out; Didion, Posegate win awards yet again

The rematch had been in the works since the first meeting back in early March. It will have to wait some more. Twice rain stopped play Wednesday afternoon in El Dorado with the second time being the final time.
