Cougars on short end of another close Jayhawk battle

Those following the Barton's men's basketball team can't complain about boring finishes lately. For the fourth straight game, the contest came down to the last shot. The Cougars were able to win those first two but they have been on the short end of the last two.

Barton Softball muscles up for season opening doubleheader sweep

An unexpected power surge for the Barton Community College softball team led to the season opening doubleheader sweep over the junior varsity squad from Bethany College Wednesday afternoon at Cougar Field. Erasing a four run first inning in game one, Barton tied it up by the end of the second going on to win the opener 13-5 in six innings.
