Three meets into the fall portion of the season, the Barton men's golf team continues to score well. For the third straight meet, the Cougars finished in the top at the Kansas Wesleyan Invitational at the Salina Country Club.
One week after pulling off a comeback season opening victory, the Barton Community College men's golf team's bid for two straight came up short Monday finishing runner-up at the KCK Invitational. The Cougars trailed Kansas City Kansas Community College by ten strokes after the morning eighteen holes at Junction City's Rolling Meadows Golf Course but the deficit grew by five additional strokes from the afternoon's round completing the one-day thirty-six hole tournament at 610 to KCK's winning 595 score.
