Cougars split conference series at GC

GARDEN CITY- The Barton Community College baseball team concluded their four-game series in Garden City with a split Saturday to earn a series split with Garden City Community College. The Broncbusters took both the seven inning contests by 12-2 and 10-4 scores while the Cougars took the nine inning nightcaps each day 5-3 and 14-9. The series leaves Barton at 10-10 in the Jayhawk West and 18-19 on the season while Garden City stands at 14-10 and 24-16. Barton women’s golf win fourth straight conference meet, secures third straight conference title

EMPORIA- With two remaining conference meets left to the season, the Barton Community College women's golf team have the luxury of already claiming the conference championship as the Lady Cougars won their fourth straight conference meet this past Monday with a sixty-two stroke victory. Held at the Emporia Municipal Golf Course, Barton held a commanding thirty-nine stroke lead after day one's eighteen holes before widening the gap on Monday's final nine holes.
