Stephenson takes over Barton volleyball program

Meeting the approval of the Barton Community College Board of Trustees, Brandon Stephenson takes over the Barton volleyball program as the Cougars' new head coach. Stephenson, a native of Kansas, is familiar with the successful history of Barton Volleyball and brings coaching experience from within the junior college ranks.

Barton Athletics announces 2016 Sports Hall of Fame inductees

Barton Community College announces the election of Joe Burger, Caley Carter-Knudsen, and Ray Seib to its Sports Hall of Fame. The Class of 2016 inductees will be recognized and honored at a 3 p.m. induction ceremony to be held on Feb. 6, in the Kirkman Activity Center located on the Barton Campus. Induction ceremony is free and open to the public. Public attendance also encouraged in honoring the inductees in between the women's and men's basketball games versus Dodge City Community College later that evening.
