BCC volleyball team beats Garden City in four sets

The Barton Community College volleyball team wrapped up their four-match home stand Wednesday night, picking up their first conference victory of the season by defeating Garden City 25-19, 24-26, 25-19 and 25-18.

Hoisington Cardinal seniors, Abi Rziha and Ashley Lockwood, have each signed letters of intent to play volleyball at Barton Community College. The senior pair were instrumental in leading the team to three consecutive Class 3A state tournament appearances for Hoisington with a second place state finish in 2011 and a fourth place finish in 2013.
