Dance by Design Christmas Spectacular 2010

Dance by Design presents Christmas Spectacular 2010 at 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Barton Community College Fine Arts Auditorium. This show features dancers from almost 3 years though adult. Routines run the gamut as well, including tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and even a little salsa. This is the 5th Annual Christmas Show for Dance by Design and audiences can expect to hear some traditional Christmas music along with a couple new seasonal hits. Come out the support all our local dancers. General admission tickets are $4 at the door.

Nex-Tech Wireless School Rebate Program

Nex-Tech Wireless has announced that USD 428 Great Bend Schools have agreed to participate in the School Rebate Program. The School Rebate Program, offered exclusively at Nex-Tech Wireless, was created to assist local schools in raising additional funds to be used as determined by the participating school. Since the program was launched in the fall of 2006, over $100,000 has been donated to local schools throughout the Nex-Tech Wireless service area.

Connie Schlochtermeier, RN, was honored with an Distinguished Service Award at the Kansas Hospital Association State Conference on Nov. 11.
