The area's fastest-growing full-service animal hospital recently expanded its presence to the Ellinwood community. Animal Medical Center opened a new satellite clinic on Oct. 20, at 315 Santa Fe and hired a new team member to manage operations at this location. "We are excited to welcome Casey Pohlman to the AMC team, and are confident that our clients will enjoy her friendly demeanor," says Dr. Nels Lindberg, co-owner of Animal Medical Center. "The newly renovated facility will allow us to make check-ups and regular appointments more convenient for our clients and their animals."

More than 250 optometrists and 150 optometric assistants attended the 2015 Kansas Optometric Association Fall Eyecare Conference in Wichita.
