Great Bend Regional Hospital sponsored its fourth-annual Human eMotion event on Saturday, June 22. In all, 195 athletes and 52 volunteers enjoyed another Kansas summer day participating in different running, biking, and walking events. Proceeds went to the Great Bend Family Crisis Center and Great Bend High Scool Future Business Leaders of America.

Nick's Repair has moved, said owner Nick Hamit. He had been working out of his home at 3206 21st in Great Bend, but he now has a shop at 2528 Fifth in Great Bend, with the entrance to in the ally east of the Veterans of Foreign Wars hall. Hamit specializes in small engine repair, for such things as lawn mowers and trimmers. The shop will be open Mondays starting at 8:30 a.m.
