KDOC 2011 employee and volunteer winners announced

The 2011 Kansas Department of Corrections Employees and Volunteer of the Year were announced by Governor Sam Brownback and KDOC Secretary Ray Roberts today during special ceremonies at the Kansas Statehouse. Employees were nominated for each of the awards by their peers and the winners were chosen by a special panel from the KDOC Central Office. Here is a list of the winners and a brief synopsis for each:

Moran promoted to CFO at Fuller Brush

The Fuller Brush Company announced Thursday that Ellen Moran has been promoted to the position of chief financial officer, effective May 2. In her new position, Moran is responsible for the administration of all corporate finance and accounting functions. Shannon Jones, manager of the Retread Plant has 13 employees help him run the day to day operations of the retread plant.
