Patients who check in at their doctors' offices on Dec. 1 will be in on the ground floor of a new program at St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center. The program is the second of a three-part initiative that will result in electronic health records for each patient.

The Board of Directors of Farmers Bank & Trust announced the promotion of Amy L. Hofeling to vice president. Hofeling has been a part of the bank's lending department since coming to Farmers Bank in September of 2007. She specializes in mortgage lending, including conventional, rural development and first time homebuyers loans. In addition to mortgage lending, she assists customers with consumer and commercial loans.

Heart Association declares GBRH Emergent Stroke Ready
