State-of-the-art CT scanner installed at Ellinwood Hospital

ELLINWOOD - Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic is one of the first hospitals in the nation to install a newly FDA-approved type of CT scanner, the Siemens Somatom go.UP scanner. On Nov. 15, 2017, Siemens, the company that makes the scanner, announced its first U.S. installs of the model in two Missouri hospitals, making Ellinwood's hospital not too far behind. Siemens announced U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance in April of last year.

Sunflower Bank ABC program supports education

DENVER, CO – Sunflower Bank's annual signature ABC Program has raised over $1,139,000 since 2001 for local schools and students in its Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri communities. As the Bank has expanded, the program has grown with it, raising much-needed funds for supplies, equipment, and books. In 2018 Sunflower is proud to introduce the program to its First National 1870 branch locations in New Mexico and Texas. The ABC Program runs January 2 through March 31 and supports approximately 300 schools.
