Knight Land & Cattle Company announced late Tuesday that Innovative Livestock Services Inc. has agreed to purchase Knight Feedlot, Inc. located in Lyons. With the sale, ILS will acquire 100 percent control of KFL. This announcement does not involve Knight Land & Cattle Company, Knight Farms, or Bar-K-Bar Trucking.

ILS is a diversified cattle feeding and farming operation with headquarters in Great Bend. ILS owns and operates nine feedyards in Kansas and Nebraska. Total feeding capacity including the Knight yard is approximately 165,000 head. ILS has offices in Manhattan, where the risk management, cattle procurement, and grain procurement teams are located. The Otis Linde facility held its annual food drive in conjunction with the Linde Cares United Way Campaign during the month of November.
