Farthing named St. Rose vice president

At the outset of Linda Farthing's career, she was an operating room nurse at Central Kansas Medical Center. Now, almost 30 years later, she is the new vice president of St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center.

KDOC 2011 employee and volunteer winners announced

The 2011 Kansas Department of Corrections Employees and Volunteer of the Year were announced by Governor Sam Brownback and KDOC Secretary Ray Roberts today during special ceremonies at the Kansas Statehouse. Employees were nominated for each of the awards by their peers and the winners were chosen by a special panel from the KDOC Central Office. Here is a list of the winners and a brief synopsis for each:

Cornerstone Interiors chosen by VIETRI

Cornerstone Interiors has been chosen by VIETRI to represent Kansas in Martha Stewart Weddings magazine. 'The VIETRI story began in 1983 when a mother and two daughters traveled to Italy and fell in love with colorful, handpainted dinnerware made by local artisans. Moran promoted to CFO at Fuller Brush

The Fuller Brush Company announced Thursday that Ellen Moran has been promoted to the position of chief financial officer, effective May 2. In her new position, Moran is responsible for the administration of all corporate finance and accounting functions. In addition to these duties, she will also supervise both the Information Technology and Human Resources departments.
