LARNED - On Saturday, April 1, Larned High School hosted a regional musical festival for solos and ensembles. A number of students from LHS received ratings of 1, which qualified them to attend the state music solo and ensemble festival which will be held at Southeast of Saline on Saturday, April 29. MANHATTAN - Quinton Elliott from Great Bend is among 40 members selected by Kansas State University's Silver Key, a sophomore leadership honor society that emphasizes community service, for the 2017-2018 academic year.
BOLIVAR, Mo. - Southwest Baptist University has released its Fall 2016 honor roll lists. To be listed on the semester's honor roll, students must carry at least 12 hours of college work at Southwest Baptist University and earn at least a B (3.00 GPA), with no grade below C. The President's List requires a GPA of 3.70-3.84, and the Deans' List requires a GPA of 3.50-3.69.
MANHATTAN, Kan. – Twenty Kansas State University students recently were selected to serve on Student Alumni Board, a group of approximately 40 students who promote and serve the university and the K-State Alumni Association. SAB works to enhance the K-State experience by creating a link between the Alumni Association and past, present and future students. Additionally, SAB was recognized with two awards at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education – Affiliated Student Advancement Programs' District VI conference in March.
