Fort Hays State University Encore Series season opens in October

Musical comedies, musically talented performers and theatrical musicians will light of the stage and fill the auditorium with laughter in Fort Hays State University's 2013-2014 Encore Series.

Janna Lang Chibry graduates

On June 15, Janna Lang Chibry, graduated from KU Wichita Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency. At that ceremony, Janna received the award, "Special Resident in Minimal Invasive Gynecology". Janna graduated from the University of Kansas in 2005, with a B.S. in Biochemistry and received her medical degree from the KU Medical Center in 2009. Janna is a member of the Daniel K. Roberts Professional Society. Dr. Chibry has accepted a position with the Heartland Women's Group, which is affiliated with the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

KU medical student training in Great Bend

Justin Moyers, fourth-year medical student at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, is receiving hands-on clinical training in Great Bend, from Dr. Jean Pringle at Great Bend Internists this month.

Jordyn Stukey of Great Bend, daughter of Greg and Regina Stukey, graduated from the Camp KAOS Starship Earth July 19th at the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center. Jordyn will be entering 5th grade at Jefferson Elementary School this fall.
