End Of School Year Bash
The Youth Workers Alliance of Great Bend is hosting an "End of School Year Bash 2011" event today at CrossPoint Church Great Bend. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. and all ages are invited. The "End of School Year Bash" will consist of 4 live bands: Brian Brillhart, Jamison, (local band) Echelon, The Lost Colors, and guest speaker Andy Addis. There will be a $5 ticket price at the door and children 10 and under are free.
Midwest Catholic Family Conference scheduled for August 5-7 in Wichita
Catholics from a nine-state area will meet for a three-day event that includes sessions on contemporary religious concerns presented by nationally recognized lay and religious speakers, spirited entertainment, and daily devotions at the 12th annual Midwest Catholic Family Conference.

Youth group plans garage sale
The youth group of the Apostolic Church, 3920 Forest in Great Bend, is planning to hold a garage 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 30, at the church to raise money for a trip to its annual youth camp. Faith Community Church hosting a series of special ministry meetings
Faith Community Church will be hosting a series of special ministry meetings at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 26 and at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 27. Guest speakers are Dr. Stephen List and David Steinert. Stephen List is the Founder and President of International Support Ministries. He was born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand in 1941.
CKMC chapel moving to the first floor
The public is invited to the blessing of the new adoration chapel at Central Kansas Medical Center where Bishop John Brungardt will conduct a brief ceremony and visit with participants. Bishop Brungardt was installed in February in the Catholic Diocese of Dodge City.

Celebration of Fat Tuesday with Annual Monterrey Dinner
First Congregational United Church of Christ, 3400 21st Street, invites everyone to celebrate "Fat Tuesday" at their tenth annual Monterrey Dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Tickets are $7.50 and $3.50 for children 6 and younger and are available in advance or at the door, with take-out available. An accessible entrance is located on the Polk Street side of the church.

First Baptist Church to host revival
First Baptist Church, 1600 19th St., Great Bend, will host a three-day revival May 29-31. The meeting start at 7 each evening with area pastors speaking. The theme for the revival is "no boundaries." The public is invited.
