​Breakout in Worship coming

The public is invited to the next Breakout in Worship, set for 7 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Perkins restaurant, 2920 10th St. in Great Bend. Worship will be led by Pastor Steve Hopkins of Hoisington, with a message delivered by Ted DeTello of Pawnee Rock Praise Ranch. During the meeting participants will be praying for revival.

Dominican Sisters take stance on gun control legislation

The Dominican Sisters and Associates of Peace have approved a corporate stance calling for responsible gun-control legislation and improved mental-health care resources. The Dominicans has agreed to dedicate their efforts to promoting initiatives in these areas, said Sister Judy Morris, OP.
