There will be a men's prayer breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at River of Life Four Square Church, 1219 Main, Great Bend. The Rev. Kevin Baxter will be speaking. All men, fathers and sons are welcome to attend.
CHASE - Victory Church of Chase, located at 104 East Carpenter St., will hold revival services next week, Monday through Friday. Doors open at 6 p.m. with snacks served. Revival services will be from 7-8 p.m.
Tom Reazin from Lyons will be the guest speaker at the next Great Bend Aglow meeting, Saturday, April 13, at Perkins Family Restaurant, 2920 10th St. Sign-in and social time begins at 9 a.m. and the meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Students from Holy Family School are shown with some of the prizes and raffle items to be given away at Fun Night. The school fundraiser runs from 5-9 Friday at the Prince of Peace Parish Center and Holy Family School commons area. There will be raffles, carnival games, silent auction and a meal.
HESSTON – The refined vocal excellence of Calmus, a German a cappella ensemble, will round out the 2012-13 Hesston-Bethel Performing Arts season with a concert entitled "Bright Side of Life" at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 14, at Hesston Mennonite Church on the Hesston College campus. Following the concert, HBPA will host a dessert reception in the Hesston Mennonite Church Community Center. Season ticket holders have free admission to the dessert reception and non-season ticket holders can purchase their admission for $4 at the door.

I have been watching the efforts the American Center For Law and Justice (ACLJ) to get Pastor Saeed Abedini released from prison in Iran. This process has been going on since Pastor Saeed's arrest for being a Christian. He is a naturalized American citizen, yet the State Department and the Administration has done nothing to secure his release.
