The Barton County Association of Churches is planning its annual Christian Unity Service. It will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18 in the Central Kansas Dream Center Chapel, 2100 Broadway Ave. The chapel is located in what was formerly the gymnasium when the building housed Roosevelt Junior High School.

New pastor to be installed at First Congregational United Church of Christ

Sunday, May 31, First Congregational United Church of Christ rejoices with the installation of Julie Shields as their new pastor. For several years, Shields has ministered to members and friends with her gentle yet powerful message, that all children of God. Her installation will be part of the 10:30 a.m. worship service.
