Youth group plans garage sale

The youth group of the Apostolic Church, 3920 Forest in Great Bend, is planning to hold a garage 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 30, at the church to raise money for a trip to its annual youth camp. Faith Community Church will be hosting a series of special ministry meetings at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 26 and at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 27. Guest speakers are Dr. Stephen List and David Steinert. Stephen List is the Founder and President of International Support Ministries. He was born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand in 1941.

First Congregational United Church of Christ, 3400 21st Street, invites everyone to celebrate "Fat Tuesday" at their tenth annual Monterrey Dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Tickets are $7.50 and $3.50 for children 6 and younger and are available in advance or at the door, with take-out available. An accessible entrance is located on the Polk Street side of the church.
