First Christian Church opens Pumpkin Patch

First Christian Church, 5230 Broadway Ave., will again sponsor the Pumpkin Patch, offering for sale over 2,000 pumpkins in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. Families can come to have family photos taken, and to purchase Indian corn, gourds, small pumpkins for baking Thanksgiving pumpkin pies, said Kelli Frazier at the church.

St. Paul Lutheran Church celebrates 1OOth Anniversary

On Saturday, Sept. 11, St. Paul Lutheran Church of Galatia will begin the celebration of its 100th Anniversary with a Servce of Music. Everyone is invited to attend.
