Dala Camerata Quartet to perform at Lindsborg

LINDSBORG - The Dala Camerata Quartet will perform at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, at the Birger Sandzen Memorial Gallery. The group is composed of musicians Ann Samuelson on violin, Cindy Fong on piano and violin, Diane Guillemette on viola, and Valerie Matthews on cello. They will be playing selections by Franz Joseph Haydn and Robert Schumann. The concert is the first performance in the Sandzen Gallery's 2018-19 chamber music series.

POW exhibit opens

LYONS - "Victory from Within: The American Prisoner of War Experience," is a mobile, interactive exhibit that shares and preserves the stories of American POWs from the American Revolution to recent conflicts. The exhibit opens from 2-4 p.m. on Memorial Day, May 28 at the Coronado Quivira Museum, 105 West Lyon, Lyons. The museum is the fourth site in the United States to host the exhibit, which will be featured for several months.
