A jury in Barton County District Court found Jacob Ryan Davis not guilty on all counts late Wednesday morning. Davis was charged with four counts of aggravated assault, stemming from an altercation that happened around 2 a.m. on Nov. 2, 2014, at Charlie's Place bar in Great Bend.

The Class 5A Regional Football game between Great Bend High School and Maize South High School will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Great Bend's Memorial Stadium. Bombers Baseball hosted their first Wiffle Ball Tournament on Oct. 31, as a fundraiser to help with running this program. Bombers Baseball is a not-for-profit organization serving youth baseball in this area.
