At the Haven Invitational Varsity Debate Tournament on Oct. 26, two Great Bend High School novice debate teams competed and both finished with winning records against varsity debaters. There where 22 schools and 58 teams that competed at the tournament. Trae Black and Ashtin Heath finished with a 3-2 win loss record with 25 speaker points and tied with their teammates Aaron Miller and Makinna Dykes with the same record and speaker points.
