BCC to close for Labor Day

New automated system to help Barton Co. crime victims

By the end of the year, victims of crime in central Kansas will be able to track the status of offenders in the Barton County Jail. They can receive an automatic notification if the offender is released or moved to another facility.

Family Crisis Center signs MOU

The National Children's Alliance, Children's Advocacy Centers of Kansas and the FBI were at the Family Crisis Center in Great Bend on Thursday, Aug. 25, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Dell Hayden Memorial CAC. This contract improves communication and services between the CAC and the FBI by working together to provide forensic interviews and advocacy services to local areas on a federal level.

Firefighters holding MDA Boot Block
