Great Bend National Guard unit deactivating Saturday

After 27 years, the Great Bend-based Battery E (Target Acquisition), 161st Field Artillery, Kansas National Guard, will fold up their colors for the last time during an inactivation ceremony Saturday afternoon.

'Summer of KAOS' comes to the Crest Theater

Area youths will present "Summer KAOS" a play about a summer camp that has a few issues the campers and the counselors will have to take care of before the camp is closed. It will be at the Crest theater on Friday July 10th, at 7 p.m.

Street Rodding American Style coming to Party in the Park
