A Soup Sampler Meal sponsored by the Daughters of Isabella Circle #744 will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, at the St. Patrick Parish Center. Public is invited to come and sample different soups for $7/person, age six and under free, includes drink and dessert.
Each year the Barton County Thread Bender's quilt guild makes a quilt as a fundraiser to raise money for projects during the year. This years winner of the quilt is Shawna Hughes from Hoisington. The winning ticket was drawn at the December meeting. Shawna was able come to the meeting to pick up her quilt. This year's quilt was designed and created by Eloise Winkleman.
