Christine Jane Suppes and Mark Joseph Baalmann were united in marriage on March 7 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Olmitz. Father Ultan Murphy and Father Rene Labrador officiated the ceremony. Parents of the couple are Sherry Suppes of Augusta, Ga., Patrick and Kathleen Suppes of Otis and Bill and Ruth Baalmann of La Crosse. The bride was escorted by the groom.

Maid of honor was Julie Suppes, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amy Suppes, sister of the bride, Becky Hancock, sister of the groom, Kezia Hesed and Vanessa Hermes.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Andover Central High School. She graduated from Johnson County Junior College in 2007 with a degree in cosmetology. She is employed by Par Exsalonce in Overland Park as a hairstylist.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Great Bend High School. He attended Mid-America Nazarene University, where he completed Berean School of the Bible. He is an independent recording artist, with a signed contract with Drive Management Company in Nashville, Tenn.

The wedding is planned for March 1 at Terradyne Country Club in Andover. There will be a reception on March 8 at the First Assembly of God Church in Great Bend.
