The Barton Community College Board of Trustees will hear about plans to celebrate Barton’s “50th birthday,” when the board meets at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, in Room F-30 of the Fine Arts Building. Quarterly events will begin in September with family-oriented fall fest activities and campus tours. 

Action items on Tuesday’s agenda include approving contracts for head coaches, management staff and administrators; and new personnel. There will be a report on the first year of the performing arts dance program from instructor Danika Bielek, a strategic planning report and a monitoring report on Barton services and regional locations.
