LARNED — This year the University of Kansas Health System, Pawnee Valley Campus, will again host the Angel Tree Coffee Hour at the hospital on Thursday, November 21 at 9:30.

“The public continues to support this project every year, and we hope for a good turnout again this year!” commented Health Records Analyst Lori Milch. “This coffee hour begins the Holiday Season with the Spirit of Giving.”

If you miss the coffee, please drop by the hospital to collect your Angel.

The Angel Tree projects in Larned are ongoing projects during the holiday season. Traditionally, paper angel cutouts serve as ornaments on a tree,  giving basic non-identity information on a child or young adult; sex, size, and needs. Each year the Larned High School Angel Tree Project collects toys, the hospital collects clothing, and the Lions Club supplies food with their food basket outreach.

The date for wrapping gifts, and distributing food boxes will be announced at a later time.
