Clinton Earl “Clint” Baker

Clinton Earl ”Clint” Baker, 85, passed away peacefully Oct. 9, 2019. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 14, 2019 at Faith Community Church in Great Bend, Kan. 

Clint was an inventor, entrepreneur and expert gardener. It was not unusual to find Clint in his garden, pulling weeds or pouring rain water on his plants that he collected in numerous pop bottles. He lived a life of generosity and warmly greeted everyone he met with the phrase, “Do you love the Lord?” He loved Jesus and wanted others to know him as he did. He was born June 28, 1934 in Wheaton, Mo. and is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ruby Baker; Maureen Baker, the mother of daughters JoAnn M. Baker of Clinton, Wash. and Shannon Rae Baker of Washington State; Delta Baker, the mother of step-son Donald D. Coddington of Oregon and step-daughters Dianne Cooper and Debbie Hasty. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Mary Feist Baker; the mother of step-sons Robert Feist (Kathy) of Tulsa, Okla., Jerry Feist of Duncan, Okla., Doug Feist of Webb City, Mo., Paul Feist (Judy) of Topeka, Kan.; step-daughters Lahna Andrus (Holmes) of Wichita, Kan., Leanna Parish (Tony) of Topeka, Kan. and Connie Russell (Michael) of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, Ronald and Berneal Baker of Wichita, Kan.; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
