Fourth graders say thanks for Kids Ag Day

POSTED September 7, 2017 1:35 p.m.

Dear Editor,

Miss Rose’s fourth grade class at Eisenhower would like to extend a thank you to the volunteers of Kids Ag Day! We want to thank you for educating us about farming in our community. We want to thank the beekeepers for teaching us about bees. It fit perfectly with our story about the disappearance of bees. We enjoyed the trailer ride; we would like to thank Adam and all the other drivers who chauffeured us around. We learned so much from Mike and Ty at the horse shoeing and J.R Esfield for teaching us the cowboy ways. Dr. Niederee taught us about medication for farm animals.
We would like to give a big thanks to the Farm Bureau and Diamond K Farms for hosting and putting on a great experience!
THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts,

Miss Rose’s 4th Grade Class
Great Bend
