Bat Cats lose 5-4

EL DORADO – The El Dorado Broncos outlasted the Great Bend Bat Cats 5-4 Wednesday in Jayhawk League baseball. Tanner Schuetz homered off Drew Repp for the game-winning fifth-inning run.
The Bat Cats (18-17) finish the series Thursday at El Dorado.
Bat Cat Jordan Wilkerson’s doubled home Brennan Fontenot in the second inning. Corrigan Bartlett started a three-run fourth inning by scoring on a wild pitch. Brandon Bachar’s single scored Wilkerson and Mateo Zunica’s single scored Brooks Asher for a 4-4 tie after four innings.
