CENTRAL PLAINS 72, KINSLEY 0

CLAFLIN – Central Plains tailback Alex Hickel rushed for three touchdowns and quarterback Myles Menges completed three touchdown passes as the Oilers cruised past Kinsley 72-0 in Friday’s 8-man football game.

Hickel scored on runs of 2, 14 and 26 yards. Menges completed touchdown passes to Devin Ryan, Jerred Bieberle and Grant Heldstab. Heldstab also scored on a fumble recovery in the endzone. Mason Wimmer scored two rushing touchdowns.

The Oilers (3-0) rushed for 184 yards and added 57 yards passing. Devin Ryan returned an interception 49 yards and Menges returned an interception 24 yards. Bieberle intercepted a pass and Bieberle and Heldstab recovered fumbles. Brett Liebl had three quarterback sacks and Mason Doll had two quarterback sacks.

Kinsley (1-2) rushed for 15 yards and passed for 31 yards.

OTIS –  Otis-Bison quarterback Anton Foust scored four touchdowns and passed for three scores to spark the Cougars past Stafford 50-0 in Friday’s 8-man-Division 2 District 8 football game.

Foust opened the scoring on a 56-yard touchdown run and added scoring dashes of 16 and 25 yards. Foust scored on an interception return. Seth Hoopingarner caught 15- and 33-yard scoring strikes. Caleb Cheely added a 12-yard touchdown reception.

The Cougars (2-1, 1-0 District) rushed for 200 yards and added 60 yards passing. Foust had 71/2 tackles.

Stafford (2-0, 1-1 District) was paced by quarterback Justice Manning with 77 yards passing and 18 yards rushing. Caleb Hildebrand caught three passes for 40 yards.

VICTORIA – Macksville quarterback Kody Mead and Karson Waters connected for three touchdown passes in Friday’s Mustangs’ 70-24 Central Prairie League loss to Victoria. 

Waters caught touchdown passes of 3, 30 and 46 yards. Darien Miller caught a 61-yard touchdown pass from Mead, who threw for 186 yards. Macksville’s Skyler Evans and Mead each rushed for 51 yards.

Victoria quarterback Cooper Windholz connected with receiver Caden Oberle for five touchdown passes covering 10, 15, 28, 29 and 35 yards. Windholz added a 21-yard touchdown run and passed for 164 yards.
