Teresa Malea Bryant 1955 - 2009

RURAL CHASE — Teresa Malea Bryant, 54, died Nov. 15 at her home in rural Chase. She was born Oct. 16, 1955, at Sterling, the daughter of Wayne and Barbara Ann Hatcher Campbell. She married Phillip Bryant on May 5, 1972, in Lyons. A longtime Rice County resident, she was a homemaker.

Mrs. Bryant was a member of the Christian Church of Lyons. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, cooking and gardening.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Josh (Janelle) Bryant of Ellinwood and Max Bryant of Chase; a daughter, Katlyn Bryant of Chase; her father of Great Bend; brother Marty (Kelly) Campbell of New Virginia, Iowa; and a grandson, Jacob. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ellinwood, with the Rev. Jeff Frakes officiating. Burial will be in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Rice County. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Kimple Funeral Home in Ellinwood, with family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations to the Grandson Education Fund or KU Cancer Research may be made in care of the funeral home.
