Jennifer Dyan Elsen Wylie 1985 - 2009

HAYS — Jennifer Dyan Elsen Wylie, 24, died Nov. 23 as the result of an automobile accident. Born March 23, 1985, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Stanley and Janet Rodie Elsen. On Feb. 14, 2009, she married William A. Wylie in Hays. She was a resident of Hays for five years, coming from Timken.

Jennifer was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her husband, William Wylie, of Hays; parents, Stanley and Janet Elsen of Timken; grandfather, Wayne Rodie; two brothers, David Elsen of Colby and Ryan Elsen and wife Kimberly of Great Bend; and a nephew, Ethan Elsen. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Emelia Elsen; and maternal grandmother, Elsie Rodie.

Vigil Service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend with Father Reginald A. Urban officiating. Burial will be at the Great Bend Cemetery North. Friends may visit from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m., all at the funeral home.
