Vickie Mower 1950 - 2009

ALLEN, Texas — Vickie Mower, 58, died Oct. 28. Born Nov. 28, 1950, in Wichita, she was the daughter of Bernard and Marie (Riedel) Huslig. On Oct. 20, 1991, she married Russ Mower in Plano, Texas.

Mrs. Mower was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Russ Mower of Allen, Texas; her mother, Marie Huslig of Claflin; three daughters, Tina Firgens of Plano, Texas, Lisa Pflughoeft-Goetz of Wichita and Diana Cochrane of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Tom Huslig of Claflin and Dennis Zimmerman of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Huslig.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Claflin.
