BMI Philanthropy Committee donation The BMI Philanthropy Committee is a group of volunteers dedicated to giving back to our community. In the fall of 2008 they began fundraising for various public needs. They have donated food, non-pantry items, coats, and their time to many local organizations. Most recently they contributed to the Prairie Godmother funds held at the Golden Belt Community Foundation, for the health and well-being of women. The concept is simple: women helping women. The endowed fund will allow donations to be held in perpetuity for Barton County women. Members of the BMI Philanthropy Committee are Heather Miessler, Michelle Beran, Rachel Cell, Theresa Leiker, Saylem Felke, Stacie McMullen, Molly Thurman, Denise Wilkens, Karla Essmiller and Rita Bailey. Representing the Prairie Godmothers are Melanie Calcara, Christy Tustin, and Linda Marmie.
