For the third year in a row, Kansas CASA has been chosen to participate in the Walmart Foundation Associates Choice Program.
This interactive program allows Walmart and Sam’s Club associates in Kansas to vote on the causes that they identify as important to their community. The Walmart Foundation has chosen three organizations per state to be eligible for the program and Kansas - Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) has been selected as one.
Aidan Loveland Koster with Central Kansas CASA in Great Bend noted that the program that receives the most votes receives $50,000. Kansas CASA has come in second twice, she said. Online voting will be through the associates’ internal website www.mywalmart.com from June 30 through Aug. 6.  Only Walmart and Sam’s Club associates get to vote.
