Daniel Crowe, OPI technician

Daniel Crowe has been at Office Products Inc. only a few months but he already is a Canon certified technician. Crowe recently completed specialized training at Canon Solutions America in Dallas.
“This kind of factory training is invaluable,” Crowe said. “It is one reason OPI customers can rely on us to provide the best service available to meet any need they have. Proper training is the best way to ensure we can effectively solve any issues the customers may face.
“Customers can be assured we make every effort to be proactive while maintaining their machines,” the technician added. “We’ll do our best to prevent problems before they arise.”
In addition to the training in Dallas, Crowe commented, OPI offers continuing education.
“I am working alongside experienced technicians, which gives me confidence in my ability to help our customers. This is a great work environment in which I can advance my education and experience.”
While Crowe spends most of his time at local and area businesses maintaining Canon copiers, OPI technicians also service and maintain a variety of other equipment in the office.
Crowe graduated from Lawrence Free State High School but has lived in or near Great Bend for most of his life. His professional background includes welding and machinist positions.
He and his wife, Samantha, have two sons, Brayden, 9, and Conner, 4.
Willie Spires, OPI service manager, said Crowe is a welcome addition to the staff.
“Daniel is a very reliable and dependable technician,” Spires said. “In earning his Canon certification during his two weeks in Dallas, he achieved 100 percent on his training and final grade. He is now certified on all Canon Imagerunner series machines that run up to 45 copies per minute.”
