Golden Belt Community Foundation recently completed the November competitive grant cycle and awarded a total of $14,058. The foundation supports programs or projects that are innovative, collaborative, proactive, measurable and sustainable.

$1,000 – Central Kansas Dream Center – Daycare Furnishings
$1,200 – Kans For Kids Fighting Cancer Foundation – Recycling Containers
$10,000 – Ellinwood Rotary – Community Splash Pad
Grants Funded Through the Nutrition & Physical Activity Endowment Fund
$358 – Welcome Inn Leisure Center – Pedometers
Grants Funded Through the Amos Bayer Endowment Fund
$1,200 – City of Larned – Bicycle Self Fix Station
Grants Funded ThroughThe Albert Gumbir Charitable Designated Endowment Fund
Assists with services to the indigent by making grants to the following organizations:
$3,000 – Barton County Emergency Aid Association
$2,500 – Community Food Bank of Barton County
$500 – Catholic Social Service
$500 – Family Crisis Center
