Great Bend Regional Hospital to host lab fair

As a service to the Great Bend area residents, Great Bend Regional Hospital will provide a community lab fair from 6-7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1 and Friday, Dec. 4.
Staff from the hospital’s in-house laboratory will offer numerous lab tests at drastically reduced prices. Participants should use the emergency room entrance on the east side of the building at 514 Cleveland St. Patients are responsible for payment by cash, check, or credit card at the time of service. Fasting is recommended at least 8 hours prior to testing, including water and coffee. Results are mailed directly to the patient.
Services and prices include: Profile 1 – Comp, CBC, Lipid $20; Comprehensive $15; CBC $5; Lipid Panel $15; Thyroid Panel – FT4, TSH $20; PSA $15; Hemoglobin A1C $15; Vitamin D $20; and Iron Studies $30.
Community lab fairs are offered three times per year in April, August, and December. Registration forms are available on the Great Bend Regional Hospital Facebook page for printing in advance. Those with complete registration forms will be able to complete the testing process much more quickly.
Great Bend Regional Hospital is a state-of-the-art 33-bed hospital offering emergency and urgent care services, orthopedics and general surgery, obstetrics and pediatrics, imaging and diagnostics, respiratory therapy, physical and occupational therapy and an in-house laboratory.
